How the Calculation Works
The calculator first normalizes protein content to a per-fluid-ounce basis, then multiplies by the actual serving volume. If you enter milliliters, the calculator converts to fluid ounces using 1 mL = 0.033814 fl oz. Per 100 mL is calculated by dividing total protein by the volume in milliliters and multiplying by 100. If a daily target is entered, the result is simply total protein divided by that target multiplied by 100.
